About the Dan Winters Band
Hailing from the heart of the Canadian prairies, Dan Winters the song writing and guitar playing talent behind his lead project the Dan Winters Band. Formed in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 2022 the current lineup includes Dan Winters (guitar, vocals) Paola Aquia (drums), Nick McDonald (lead guitar) and Jake Enns (bass, vocals).
The Dan Winters Band is inspired many different genres and are heavily influenced by The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Jackson Browne. Often inspired by the distant echoes, calm and serene landscapes of eastern Manitoba, many of Dan’s songs draw elements and sounds from the glory days of rock music.
The band recently showcased their debut performance in a fundraiser for Movember and men’s mental health at the infamous Times Change(d) High and Lonesome Club [Stash Bash].
The group is currently releasing their first ever live single [River] recorded at the NoFunClub Recording Studio in Winnipeg, MB. The group is currently releasing the audio from their live sessions on all streaming services on [April 14/2023]. Both songs are available to watch live in 4K on their YouTube Channel @danwintersband.
